~ Preschool News ~
Our next curriculum unit will focus on “Families”. During our classroom discussions we will talk
about how all families are different.
Some families are very big (have a lot of family members) and some are
small (have few family members)…but ALL families are special!
Students will
have numerous opportunities to share personal stories about their families (How
many people are in your family? What are
their names? Who lives in your house?). Last week each student took home a special family
project where we invited you to decorate your very own house. Students are encouraged to return their
decorated houses this week to share with classmates. Don’t forget
to include a family photo!! Finally, we
will talk about all the wonderful things families can do together (e.g., play together,
celebrate family traditions, go on vacations/trips, etc.).
We are looking forward to a Fun-Filled month!
