"My Family"

Our new Family unit is off to a great start!!  During circle, we talked about how all families are different.  Some families are very big (have a lot of family members) and some are small (have a few family members).  Students shared who was in their family (i.e., mommy, daddy, brother, sister, grandmother, etc.) and some fun activities they like to do together (i.e., play together, celebrate family traditions, visit the park, go on a bike ride, go on vacations/trips, etc.).

This month our Social/Emotional focus we will focus on KINDNESS!  What are some ways you show kindness?

The students LOVED sharing their "Houses" with their classmates!  Everyone had something special to share 😊

ECDC Doctor's Office!

In the Dramatic Play center, we did some role-playing and took turns being the doctor and the patient (we also took care of all the sick baby dolls).
What happens at the doctor's office?
"You go get a shot"
"Mommy takes me to the doctors when I am sick"
"The doctor takes care of me"
"He checks my cough"

We love spending time on our playground!  Don't forget we go on the playground everyday (weather permitting, of course) so PLEASE make sure to dress for the chilly weather and label all your child's belongings!
